“Our adventure began a number of years ago in the wintry land of Gatineau as colleagues. Unsure of each other at first, but attracted by each other’s mutual passion for excellence, we soon became each others’ cheerleaders in work and in life. Maria’s warmth, generosity, wit, and passion fuels our friendship, one that fills me with joy and grows with time.”

“My friendship with Maria was cemented in Grade 9 science class. Seated together in the front row, we bonded over Maria’s chronic tardiness and my knack for nomenclature. Since then, she’s been a vibrant, loud, and aggressively loving presence in my life. And I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

Our Groomsmen

“Our adventure began many, many, many moons ago, when I met James in the hallowed halls of the Eganville District Public School Kindergarten class.  But it truly began in first and second grade when we realized that we had a shared love of bad jokes, technology, and… I won’t say math… let’s go with “problem solving”.  Over the decades we’ve been friends, classmates, roommates, road-trip buddies, co-groomsman, my groomsman, and now his Groomsman.  James is a hell of a good friend, and I’m excited to see him and Maria taking this next step together.”

The Ballad of Giants:
Lost to time and space is the original epic moment of how the two cosmic souls of James and Jason collided here on Earth.  Archeologists, scientists, spiritual leaders and shaman from all over the world have spent ages pinning down that the original encounter must have happened with what is being called their “senior kindergarten year”.  Much is not known other than they must have became friends quickly, which would eventually blossom into a brotherly love and trust, only second to that between Zeus and Poseidon.  From that moment epic tales are told, and re-told of their journey though elementary and high school, their partnerships of community involvement and theatrical prowess, and their amazing adventures of races, road trips and rescues.  James is god-father to Jason’s daughter Everly.
